Where we work in the borough

TW1 and TW2, and the edges immediately beyond them. Four places have pages of their own; where a patch belongs to a sibling site we say so rather than covering it in passing.

01

The riverside and St Margarets

TW1

Georgian and Victorian villas facing the Thames, several listed and most in a conservation area, with substantial terraces behind them, mansion blocks along the main roads and villa conversions throughout. Permit streets, narrow carriageways and very little off-street standing — and Eel Pie Island, where everything crosses on foot.

02

Strawberry Hill and the Green

TW1 · TW2

Substantial Victorian and Edwardian villas around Horace Walpole's Gothic house and its conservation area, terraces and semis round Twickenham Green on busy narrow roads, and larger detached property on the roads running down to the river.

03

Whitton, Fulwell and the stadium side

TW2

Interwar and postwar semis and detached housing with driveways, wide enough roads and turning space — the most predictable work on the patch. The stadium streets are normal most of the time and rearranged on a home fixture, which we check against your date.

04

The southern edge

TW11 · TW12

Teddington around the High Street and the lock, Hampton Wick and Hampton Hill. Victorian and Edwardian terraces and villas, substantial family housing behind, and riverside property with narrow approaches and the occasional footpath-only last stretch.

Area pages

The four we write about

Because the job genuinely differs between them — a riverside villa and a Whitton semi are not the same day's work.

Beyond the area

Richmond, Kew and East Sheen have their own borough specialist on our network, and Feltham and the Hounslow side another. Across the bridge into Kingston is a different patch again. For moves that are London-wide rather than borough-shaped, our pan-London sister sites cover the whole city and are the better fit. We would rather point you at the right one than quote for roads we would only see occasionally. Beyond London we move people out of the area constantly — west along the M3 and M4, south to the coast, north for work, and abroad.

Not sure whether your address is one of ours? Put it on the quote form and we will tell you straight.

Is your street on the list?

Send both addresses and a sense of what is coming. We survey — at the property or by video — then put a clear quote in writing, with what is included and what would change it.
